Really enjoying practicing Thai on a daily basis with locals (street vendors, hotel staff, etc.). I can now have converse in Thai fairly ok -- as long as the other person(s) plays along and keeps his/her Thai at my low level we can talk for quite a while. I am still definitely in the beginner stage but its improving and the words and talking are coming more easily to me now. I am aiming to really dive back into the books (along with the gym, yoga, and raw foods) when I get back home to Phuket next month, but in the meantime its been great getting a lot more practice speaking.
