Really great that U2 have released their new album for free via iTunes (go to your iTunes Store and hit Purchased and it will be there waiting for you to download). I love getting things for free, so its very welcome. The album itself is basically kind of like the last one. Not too challenging and a bit like background music rather than the edgier stuff they used to do. But that is a minor gripe as it was generously given to us. I just wish Apple wasnt the reason the band did this to coincide with Apples own big release week. It would be nice for Bono and co to maybe just concentrate on making better music and then giving it to us for free, if they so choose, for reasons of a musical nature rather than attaching their new product to the release of another new and better one! But hey ho, Ill forget about that crazy notion in this current world that we live in so I can carry on listening to this new music I now have!
