Really moved by how Robin Williams opened all of our hearts up... Both in the spazzingly dizzy heights of laughter, to his untimely (and reallllly sad) exit. The dialogue hes opened up about depression is unlike anything Ive ever seen. Thank you for helping me understand what depression is, and what its not Karen and Danielle. The condition deserves all our reserves of compassion. Yesterday I was operating from an assumption, which can be a slippery slope to judgement. We all experience The Lows at one point or another, and Im growing increasingly obsessed with helping people experience The Highs, or at least equanimity. The first step is understanding, so t-h-a-n-k-s to my peoples for helping guide my understanding. I think I shared a Daya Mata quote last week about intellect being driven by ego, and wisdom being guided by reverence. RWs example in both how he lived & passed deserves only reverence. Lets forgive the Fox News guy while were at it. The dude gets paid to fill hours with running his mouth. Hes entitled to screw up with the rest of us. His job is a joke to me, but hes likely gotta family that loves him. Im tired of watching these opportunities for u-n-i-t-y & reflection get fractured into bickering & judgement. Be tha change, suckas. :)
