Realtor 2015 Housing Forecast: According to this morning’s Realtor article, 2015 will offer a mixed bag of blessings. The prediction is for more millennials and first time homebuyers to buy homes ahead of increasing price increases and higher interest rates. There is good news for current homeowners as the article predicts home values to increase 4%-5%, however they also see mortgage interest rates reaching 5%. Higher home values combined with higher interest rates will obviously affect home affordability for the buyers who have been sitting on the sidelines.
