Reason # 16 to be thankful--enough. We have a hard time really defining enough. What really is enough to you? What is enough money? What is enough stuff? What is enough fun? What is enough food? What is enough fun? What is enough power or knowledge or work or awards...its hard than it sounds. Having enough is a wonderful blessing from God. But enough isnt something you find on a plate, or in a wallet or purse, or in a garage or closet. You truthfully find enough in your heart. Enough? Enough=contentment. I ask you, God, to let me have two things before I die: keep me from lying, and let me be neither rich nor poor. So give me only as much food as I need. If I have more, I might say that I do not need you. But if I am poor, I might steal and bring disgrace on my God. (Proverbs 30:7-9) Thank You, Lord, for lessons that teach me to be content, that remind me what enough really means. Thank You, Lord, for everything You have given me--everything comes from You. May Your grace truthfully be enough for me. To You be eternal praise!
