Received a beep from one of our boys in Uganda. He said I have called you to ask if I have made a good or bad decision about my life. He is one of 3 of our children with epilepsy which has destroyed his memory and taken away all his energy. He was a clever child and this has prevented him from retaining information and sitting his O levels next year. He is trying to decide if he should do a vocational training which means giving up on his plans for formal education with his best friend. This is a decision which completely alters the direction of his life. I had given him exercises and they have helped a little.(Thanks Lyn Whittington) He is slowly recovering his energy and told me his colleagues really wanted him on their team. A big decision for such a young person with absolutely no family support. One thing I do know is that he will certainly give it his best shot.
