Received a letter from Alistair Burt (Foreign & Commonwealth office) in relation to home evictions in East Jerusalem and the case of the Shamasneh family. The letter contained useful information and further confirmation of the British position on Israeli settlements in occupied territory and their deep concern for "vulnerable Palestinian communities under threat of house demolition and eviction".
