Received a txt from Melissa and family as they were driving home from Ians treatment in Omaha tonight... Melissa writes: 10/14/2013 Long day. Saw new wheel chair guy, hopefully things will progress. Drs surprised that the new chemo was so hard on Ian. Had small issue with his port and had to leave an unclotting drug in it for awhile, which can happen. But got it flushed out out and chemo went fine. Gave him Benedryl as soon as he started feeling ill and then he slept through the worse symptoms. Went through a bad rainstorm from Omaha to west of Lincoln. Ian woke up at york, happy and chatty. Everything super slow at Dr. so we are glad we get a week off.
