Here is the email: A Update on the US-Mexico Ferry as of July 2014 Heres what we know as of today (July 29, 2014) about the projects progress: Schedule: - Bookings for the first voyage for the targeted start date of April 2015 are set to begin in October 2014 Prices: - $350 round trip including a cabin and all food and entertainment - $95 one-way for cars - $95 one-way for storage bins - Frequent user discounts TBD - Advanced booking and season discounts TBD Frequently Asked Questions: - Can I bring small pets? Yes - Can I bring extra stuff for my residence in Mexico other than luggage and what fits in my car? Yes There will be special personal cargo bins that can hold up to 1000 lbs and bulky items such as bedding, appliances or even a refrigerator. - Can I bring an RV, motorcycle or small boat? Yes - Will this be a year-round service? Yes There will be 2 round trips per week between the U.S. and the Yucatan. 52 weeks per year. - How will I be able to book?
