Received bad news yesterday from my vet for my senior lab Sadie who I fostered and adopted. Sadie has a rapid growth of a mass in her belly. The vet feels the mass is due to lymphoma. She is not in any pain, no loss of appetite or activity but is constantly losing weight. He feels she has 4-6 months (if she is lucky). I love my seniors, and just recently adopted another senior back in July of this year. But after Sadie is called home, I am done. Too hard on the heart. As you can imagine, I am giving her much TLC during her time left on earth. My sweet pup - she has been a great dog.
