Received this from a friend. Lets remember to pray for the children in the Middle East. This week, we are encouraging you to pray through the Psalms on their behalf. A prayer through the Psalms for the children in the Middle East Psalm 130:1 Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord; O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy for the children in the Middle East. Psalm 31:9 Be merciful to these precious children, oh Lord, for they are in distress. Psalm 91:5 & 11 May they not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. I ask you Lord to command your angels to guard the children in the Middle East. Psalm 46:1 I pray for your Holy Spirit to comfort the children so that they might know that God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Psalm 29:11 The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace. I pray your peace to settle upon the children in the Middle East. Psalm 140: 12-13 I know that the Lord secures justice for the poor and upholds the cause of the needy. Surely the righteous will praise your name and the upright will live before you. I pray for renewal of the peacemakers, that we may see conflict here no more. Amen
