Please apply in person: S&S Activewear 581 Territorial Drive - Southwest Entrance Bolingbrook, IL 60440 JOB DESCRIPTION Shift: 8pm-5am, Sunday - Thursday Summary The Receiving Department Worker at S&S Activewear is responsible for unloading inbound trucks, labeling, sorting and organizing of received goods, building inventory bundles, putting away bundles and recording transactions in the inventory system. All employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Work with the Receiving team to efficiently unload inbound trucks 2. Receive goods based on supplied packing list 3. Sign Bills of Lading upon receipt of goods 4. Deliver completed documents and reports to the appropriate personnel/department 5. Accurately sort received goods by SKU 6. Efficiently and accurately build inventory bundles by SKU 7. Put away bundles in the appropriate warehouse location 8. Record inventory transactions in handheld scanners 9. Accurately perform cycle counts as instructed 10. Perform other inventory control activities as assigned 11. Show up on time every day, ready to work 12. Safely operate all warehouse equipment 13. Follow directions of Supervisors and Managers 14. Stay busy 15. Maintain a safe warehouse 16. Maintain a clean warehouse 17. Maintain a positive attitude Required Education, Skills, Abilities and Experience • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Ability to operate a warehouse car, forklift and other warehouse machinery • Ability to read and understand Bills of Lading, Packing Lists and other reports written in English • Ability to operate handheld inventory scanner • Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers quickly and accurately Physical Demands In performing the job of Order Puller one must stand and walk for extended periods of time. Additionally, the position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate Hand-Eye coordination, near vision, far vision and hearing is required for the operation of picker cars and other warehouse machinery. Working Environment The job will be performed in the S&S Activewear warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
