This is a message sent via Derbyshire Alert. This information has been sent on behalf of Derbyshire Constabulary (Please do not reply directly to this email, please use the Reply button at the bottom of this message) Message sent by Tim Parkin (Police, Community Information Officer, Derbyshire) Four burglary incidents occurred in Heanor recently. Three occurred on Breach Road. During two of them access was gained using a key kept secure outside. One on Thursday 8th January around 3am, a man is disturbed inside the property and fled. The other occurred overnight between Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th January where the offender has searched within and taken a purse. The third occurred on Thursday 8th January between midnight and 8am where three rear garden sheds were broken into by having the locks forced off. A search was made and items taken include a blue and silver Saracen mountain bike and fishing equipment. These are thought to be possibly related and around 1am on Wednesday 7th January a suspicious youth was seen riding around the Breach Road area. Crime 1036/15. Lastly on Old Coppice Side two locks on a garage door were cut and the chain securing three bikes was cut. A grey Whyte Gravity G150 mountain bike, a black and red Merida Ride 500 racing bike, and a black and silver Kinesis Max Light racing bike were taken. Crime 1046/15.
