Recent PSTML.COM updates: Im currently working as partners on pstml with Zion - both contributing whatever we can to see how far we can take the project :) SEE FOR YOURSELF (pstml). It looks a little bit hotter, but still a lot to do until were launched WWW.PSTML.COM PLAN OUTLINE: Short to mid term strategy (0-6 months): I want to conquer the pestemal niche (meaning be in top 3 on Google when people google for pestemal.) To do this we need to get high quality relevant backlinks. Going to send out ~10-30 samples to female home/textile/lifestyle bloggers. I want to expand into complementary products on our website (were currently debating purchasing 1.7k worth of artisan soap at ~.70 a piece and reselling at ~$12.00 a piece) Mid to Long term strategy: Creating a website along the lines of fab which would have a curated, artisan-made selection of home/lifestyle goods. Examples of potential goods we want to sell: Organic Soap made in France. All-Natural Candles made in Italy. Finnish Throws/Blankets. Hand-pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil from x, (still thinking about this one) Turkish Towels The reason consumers would use this website is 1) Its curated We wont have a bunch of products for the sake of having a bunch of products. If you go to fab -- they sell tshirts with white hearts on them, not to mention glasses, usb hubs, etc. 2) Rich Media One of my major experiments with my kickstarter was that if you give something a story, add some photos, videos, etc. People will want to buy it. I want to capitalize on this in this ecommerce venture, and every product would have a very rich product page, detailing how the product is made, how to use it, misc. info. Each product would have 5-10 photos of the product in use (as opposed to just w/ a white background.) as well as a short video describing the product. A note - the website will not only contain products that we create, external vendors are welcome to apply to be listed -- but will have to be confirmed and will have to meet the quality standards of our website. Also, debating publically posting the financials of the company, is this something you guys would be interested in? Let me know! Also shoutout to James Montgomery for doing some free web dev work for me woop woop. What do you all think? :)
