Recent Sarasota invader, Arkans Sylvia (Sylvia) notched her first career victory for Blanchard GreyhoundRacing at the Bestbet Orange Park this afternoon in a driving rainstorm. Breaking sharply from her 5-box, she had only brief outside pressure on the rush to the turn, but, by the time shed reached the finish-line she was free and in the clear! With a 4 length lead coming out of the escape, Sylvia had clear sailing for the last 330 yards of the race and came off the wet track with a clean face! Way to go, Miss Sylvia and congrats on your first victory in Jacksonville!
