Recent and heavy rains have caused flash flooding along the Pecos River watershed in several parts of West Texas including areas in Culberson, Reeves and Loving Counties. I am in contact with law enforcement and continue to closely monitor the situation. I stand ready to provide any assistance I can to the local communities affected.
