Recent headlines have brought to the foreground the dire state of a transitioning society in our beloved America. Everywhere I turn, I see a growing movement to abolish the peoples rights to all long-established freedoms and culture envied by the world, to a state of undeniable ruin; much of it due to the fact that some just do not seem to grasp nor appreciate the reality that they appear to be intent on destroying the very things that define what it means to be an American, and why so many arrive at our borders and wish to share. With increasing ceremony, the things we cherish as Americans are being brutally put asunder by those who profess to be our fellows in one nation - through unconscionable, illegal assault and harassment of our lands people, pride and patriotism; the more prideful and patriotic, the more others seem to be offended, and choose to attack the precious laws, symbols and customs that comprise our great country. To the ignorant and selfish who, in their chase to find each new flaw in the American way and eradicate it, and their increasing attacks on fellow Americans beliefs, I, and others like me, have become the offended. Not you. You have offended US. That being said, I can assure you, we will NOT accept that with everything we say and do, we will be accountable to anyone who may be offended by our long-standing support of our country, our beliefs and all that it so devotedly, tirelessly, sacrificially, and faithfully represents. Were not fighting a war here, there is no battle. We are not the enemy, we are supposed to be on the same team. If you dont feel that, if you dont believe that, if you dont believe in America and all that it embodies, perhaps you need to go. You just may be an enemy of the State. If that offends you, frankly, I dont give a damn. - Gina Weiss
