Recent relative went to Acute Care Center and had tests. Needed a test they couldnt do there, so they sent relative to the ER. When relative got to the ER, all those tests were repeated, even though the Acute Care office was a part of the same system. Relative admitted to hospital then to rehab center. Not allowed to go home even though nursing care had been arranged for relative at home. Insurance system and payment procedures locked in if you have good insurance (medicare plus for profit coverage which picks up the balance.) God help you if you dont.
