Recently I found 2 pit bulls. They were stray beat up, one was obvious to had recently had a litter the other was a male that never took his eyes off the girl and obviously cared for her more then Ive seen a dog do so. Both dogs had lots of battle scars from fights. We called the animal control hoping someone was looking for them. We fed them and gave them water. Once the girl laid down she could not get up He said the shelter doesnt kill because they have plenty of room (lie) and they would keep them together (lie). One dog was up for adoption after several days The other heart warm positive and they were going to kill him. I didnt think someone would adopt the girl right away. She was beet up, nipples down to the ground and not as out going as the other dogs. I had to try to save the boy first. Finally I got ahold of the decision maker. She said if I take responsibility for the boy I can adopt him. The heart worm treatment is from $450 to over $1000. I adopted him Thursday. He will go to a hospital and I pick him up Tuesday. The girls was already adopted Friday. I was so sad and mad at myself that I didnt secure her. This boy dog loves her and needed her. He has gone through so much abuse. He is troubled, tail is tucked deep between his legs and a ball of nerves. Im going to my best to break that wall down mis trust and give him a good life. I believe mericals with prayer. Please pray to have the other dog re unite with with the dog I adopted.
