Recently, I got a spiritual experience while reading an article in Liahona magazine. It was a story about the blessings of the Temple to the members of the Church in Philippines. These Latter-day Saints have sacrificed so much in order to be strong and united as who they are today. For example, there was a family of nine whose the parents needed the blessing of eternal family. They sold their house to find enough money to get a one-round trip to the Temple, so that their family could be sealed together forever. Without any clue of how their lives would be after that trip, they relied entirely on Heavenly Fathers hands. As the result, their children were all successful in lives and faithful in the Church, and not long later, they could afford to buy a new house to reside in. After reading this article, I pondered what have I done and what sacrifice I have to make, so that I can be worthy of the blessings in my life.
