Recently I have had some really interesting signs regarding the surprising addiction of seeking insights and how this too now has to be dropped at this stage on my journey. Over the last week I had been contemplating one big issue that has been bothering me and for two days while doing so multiples of pheasants kept running past my window. First there were two, then three, then two pairs until finally they just kind of hung around strutting about right in front of me. This was clearly something to pay attention to and the presence of pheasant according to the Toltec dream dictionary means that elusive outcomes are being sought. This annoyed me completely because I realised it was pointing to something I would have to give up on, it turns out though it wasnt the situation itself, but the act of seeking insights in the first place. I realised that at a certain stage where anything is being sought it is to suggest that there is something missing or incomplete about the moment. So, seeking insight eventually needs to yield to letting insight come spontaneously and organically through complete contentment even if something seems to be a puzzle or absolutely cant be understood. It is to leave the mystery alone and allow it to reveal itself if and when it wants to.
