Recently, I have to unfriend a so-called Christian who had become very abusive towards some of my Facebook friends who commended about the Israel-Palestinian conflicts. He did not attack me personally but was verbally abusing those believers who posted against his idea - calling them all types of degrading names. I have no problem with anyone expressing different opinions but they have to be polite in their comments. They can write passionately about what they believe but they should never resort to verbal abuse and name-calling. In this instance, this person was initiating the verbal attacks. His victims retaliated and my Facebook page became more like a battleground than a page for believers and other friends to freely share their ideas. With such a spirit of hostility, the person who claimed to promote peace did not actually know what peace is all about. He was only be in love with the idea of peace but not peace itself. Let the Prince of Peace come in and there will be real peace within. Then whatever we think, deduce, do and comment will be full of the peace of God.
