Recently I re-connected with a close friend from the 70s and early 80s. With careers, family and re-locating, we drifted apart and went our own ways. What connected us back in the day was an interest in Vans and the fact that we were both major motorheads. That didnt stop us from having some in depth discussions that went beyond the fact that he could eat really hot food, I mean really hot, LOL. Anyway, the point is, on several occasions he asked me to look at a situation from another,or someone elses perspective. Since then Ive tried to do exactly that. Ive thought of him many times over the years when confronted with a decision or situation and tried to use that advice. I was the only Anglo (with my family) in the Van Club and all my memories of those times are pleasant and fun. Thanks for re-connecting with me Bob Hernandez and thank you for being the good person that your are. B|
