Recently I read A Place of Her Own and was intrigued enough I thought I might do a review on Amazon. I wasnt able to get in to do it. For me, Janet Fishers novel unfolded like an action-packed historical fiction. It is authentically based on family folklore which was ultimately substantiated by public records across the country. One rainy day a few weeks ago, I read the whole thing through in one sitting. When I finished I wanted more. I am hoping there will be sequels involving this illustrious family. There are lots of stories to tell and Janet Fisher certainly knows how to tell a story!
