Recently, I read somewhere about the evolution of the word propaganda. To explain the term, they discussed about patriotism. In the time of World war II, the politicians encouraged the citizens to be patriotic so as to see other countrymen enemies. And the book points out this work of politicians as an example of propaganda. There is no place for patriotic feeling in a normal life except in those conflicting, war like situations. What is needed in man is love, the real spiritual man loves his country and other countries. He wants to see his countrys progress as well as others. He wants to see the entire humanity progressing, this was the real feeling of the people from ancient India. We prayed Lokah Samasthah Sukhino Bhavandu. -Let all the people of world be happy. Its the British who came and taught us about divisions. The present India is looking at the west and learning from them.
