Recently I stumble upon a photograph in my friends house. What caught my eyes was this photo with the title, All Manipur photographers welfare association. I later found out that it belong to my friends dad, Angom Iboyaima. He was a member in the association, which was formed in 1985 by professional photographers from across the state. Dzuko Hills was already a favourire among the veteran photographers, he said. Many of them died but those who are alive are still living with their dreams. They now have their own studios that have been pass on to their sons and daughters. Out of the various constraints they must be facing those days like lack of exposure, circulation and funds, they struggled hard to live their dreams.
