Recently, I was asked if I preferred to body clip cats or horses. My unequivocal answer was Cats! I thought I was so smart finish clipping my whole herd of equines 2 weeks before The Stepping Stone Horse Show when we had that stretch of great weather. That will teach me to be motivated and ambitious! Now that I have clipped them all for the second time, (and Im miserable because for days I have been covered from head to toe with hair that does not belong to me) Im really missing the days of cat clipping. Cat clipping: they dont really have less hair, but they do have less surface area, its always summer when the cats get clipped, and because they sit on my lap for their haircuts, those hard to reach places are easily accessible when the clippee gets flipped upside down. In my next life, Im signing up to only have horses that agree that it is not necessary to look like a yak from August to May!
