Recently Pookie won a big buck contest. This was just over the top for him because he poor man fishes and hunts. He waits for invitations because he cant afford a boat or a lease. He had an interview and an article written on him, really most of the article was written on Hope Cancer Retreat. We have been taking a breather since finishing our last cottage and prayerfully considering what we should do next. In the last week I have received 3 different emails from 3 different men with 3 different kinds of company. All of them read the article, then went to our website and was moved enough that they clicked on the contact us tab and sent me an email all saying they wanted to get involved with HCR. One man has a concrete company, and went through cancer in 2012. Another man has a plumbing company and is also involved in another organization who do fund raisers for charities. The other man manages a company that does anything from landscaping to carpentry. He was born and raised here in Splendora though he doesnt live here any longer. His grandmother had cancer and he wants to give back and help other cancer people. We know God is fixing to increase our territory again and we desperately need more property. We have 2 big projects we can take on but we are waiting on the right timing. God is sending us people and for that we are thankful. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us if that is what he has called us to do. Waiting on that still small voice of confirmation to go!
