Recently, a buddy of mine told me about how he had a fall in the Forrest. He was knocked out for hours. He woke disoriented, alone and of course frightened. My grand father had a dog that was considered legendary for his loyalty. If at anytime my granddad would drop anything of his the pooch would stop walking and sit beside whatever it was until my GP would take note. Today during our walk in the Forrest I decided to run a little test for my boy, yogi. I allowed him to run off ahead enjoying all the wonderful scents. When he was far enough. I fake a fall. I stayed downed to see what would happen. Within 10 seconds I heard leaves crumpling, sniffing, than I heard my big stud circling my body( accessing the situation) , finally he sat down beside me and licked my face and proceeded to wait and survey the land like a true bully. I came back to consciousness and gave my boy a big hug. This is why we love our pups, yes this is dangerous bullmastiff they speak of. Well , I know for a fact he would save my life if he could.
