Recently a few individuals have taken advantage of the Project and community members visiting the Project by selling bikes and pocketing the money for their own personal gain. Making matters worse the bikes were not rebuilt and not ready to be sold. We have identified two of these individuals and talked with them. Project volunteers/monitors are working on solutions to limit such iniquitous behaviors but we need your help as we are often small in number in comparison to the number of community members visiting the Project. Simply having someone to meet and greet people as they visit the Project would help us tremendously. If you can give us a hand during our open shop hours so all community members can have a memorable experience, we would greatly appreciate it!
