Recently as I have read, all of this talk about being robbed, needing to have guns, police robberies and regular robberies, break ins, burglaries, muggings, and not being able to walk at night is more disconcerting than anything I have read on these forums. Who cares about getting sick when you can be stabbed for your pocket change? I realize if you look for trouble, you can find it. And using common sense goes a long way, but is it really that bad? Now is your chance to scare some people away, lol. But seriously, is this something that is on peoples mind as a daily thought process, or just something that happens once in a great while like it does in many cities, or is it something you dont really think or worry about it. Ive yet to hear of anyone being robbed in Chiang Mai, although Im sure it happens... but I certainly dont worry about robberies, as it is pretty much non-existent. Just wondering.
