Recently reports have surfaces on a number of websites that as a group we were set up to "promote trade links with dictators". This is something we categorically deny, rather is our sincere hope that the development of the market economy (boosted by British investment) alongside the promotion of personal freedoms will benefit the people of the Central Asian region and help them shed the last remaining shackles of post-Soviet stagnation and lead to these states becoming globally respected for their rich culture, history and industry.
