Recently, someone violated my boundaries and by doing so really offended me. When I brought this to their attention, they replied that they couldnt apologize because it wouldnt seem sincere. It would appear that I had backed them into a corner and I wouldnt believe it. My response was that I felt that excuse was full of BS and no, I wasnt accepting their view point or apology because they obviously didnt mean it. Fast forward to 2 weeks later and the same person did something that crushed my feelings and has caused me to question my faith and trust. However, this time this time the person has finally taken responsibility for their actions and acknowledged how it has affected me. This time around, I have accepted the apology and I am hopeful that this person has truly learned a lesson about how to treat others, but most importantly how to treat me. Time will tell. However, this person sent me this clip as part of the apology. I ask that everyone take the time to view it because it is profound and theres a message here that I believe that we can all be reminded of.
