Recently the Oceania CACS conference was held in Perth, Western Australia. Delegates from Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and other parts of the world gathered for a thought-provoking three-day conference. Highlights included keynote presentations from Australian Senator Scott Ludlum and ISACA International Vice President Garry Barnes and the conference dinner with the Master of Ceremonies, three-time Olympian Andrew Vlahov. Following the completion of CACS, chapter leaders from around the region gathered for the Oceania Leadership Conference (OLC). Many great ideas were shared and some initiatives were discussed to further strengthen ISACA in the region. The highlight of the OLC was a visit from New Zealand Prime Minister Mr. John Key, who was attending a function in the room next door. Mr. Key was very interested in ISACA and it was a big thrill for the Auckland and Wellington Chapter representatives.
