Recently, we started a new weekly officer profile posting called #CopOnTheSpot, where we help introduce you to one of our officers by putting them on the hot seat and grilling them for information. We dont want it to be too generic, so were including pictures of them actually performing some of their duties during the day. Here is this weeks featured officer: Name: Officer Mize Length of Service: 1.5 years with BNPD, 1.5 years as a reserve officer in Vilonia. Position: Patrol Officer. Also a member of the BNPD Honor Guard His Favorite thing about Benton: The close knit feeling where everybody still knows everyone else. Hobbies: Motor sports of all kinds and video gaming. Fun Fact: Ofc. Mize took two years of cotillion (google it, we had to and its of French origin) classes growing up where he learned about such things as proper etiquette and dancing. (Were not quite sure he took the training to heart, but well take him at his word). Another Fun Fact: Ofc. Mize gets told a lot that he resembles the actor Matt Damon. He wont be happy that we mentioned that here, which is why we posted it when he wasnt around the office. #CommunityFirst
