Recently, we took over Missy, an ADORABLE Yorki mix! She is around 1-1.5 years old and weighs around 8-10 lbs! She is very friendly and loves everybody! She is on adoption NOW! She came with 2 of her babies( which was taken over by Hunters Dog Rescue, Inc. the other day) from Nixon/Smiley area. She had been tied up with tree outside with very minimum to nothing. Were very glad that her owner released Missy & her 2 babies,though, unfortunately, they changed their mind and decided to keep Missys parents( mom & dad) which originally they agreed to release to us. Were REALLY hoping that they decided to keep these two dogs because they basically love them. IF so, and IF they see this post, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider UNCHAIN them, and put both of them inside of your warm house( or provide some more appropreate housing like shed) It has been too harsh for these small breeds to live outside WITH chain for 5 years already....and the old container with blanket can NOT be an appropriate dog house. IF you love your dog( and we know YOUR DOG LOVE YOU!), PLEASE treat them in the way the dog treat you....please! Missy is NOT in bad shape at all, so we know youve been trying to feed them well and were assuming you do love animals... We sure are not looking for any more dogs, since were a very little pound that has to intake dogs on daily basis and our monthly intake is OVER 30( which is very high for a small rural town with population with only 8,000!)!!! BUT if you need any assistance, were more than happy to help you!! We promise that well take care of Missy, so please take a good care of her parents that you do love. This plea is actually for ALL the dog owners in Gonzales! PLEASE take care of your dog( and all the animals). Please keep them in warm place that they deserve :) You know they do love you!!!
