Receptionist/Administrative Assistant (Toronto) Our downtown client, a dynamic, fun & fast growing Architecture firm with a stunning office is seeking an Ambassador to join their team on permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources; this individual will be the first point of contact for clients, potential customers, and guests. The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will be accountable for maintaining a professional atmosphere in his/her area, directing calls, answering questions and greeting visitors as they arrive to the office. The Receptionist/Office Coordinator is also responsible to perform other administrative functions for other business units including company mail, typing and filing. Specific Responsibilities: Answers and directs calls accordingly in a professional and timely manner On a regular basis, reviews and distributes incoming mail Ensures a professional atmosphere is maintained in the reception area Maintains security by following guest procedures, monitoring guest/logbook, and issuing visitor passes Organizes meetings as required; this involves ordering food and arranging refreshments as needed Co-ordinates the use of meeting/resource rooms and ensures they are clean and ready for use Orders and distributes office supplies and equipment. Provides administrative support to the human resources business unit and assists with projects and other tasks as identified by the HR group Qualifications: Related post secondary education Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational ability in order to effectively schedule and co-ordinate workloads Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a calm and professional manner Ability to tactfully handle confidential documents and information Please email your resume to s.boyle@tdspersonnel
