Rechartering! 1. Tunica rechartering will start December 11 at the Tunica District meeting, where the packets will be distributed. All units are to have a representative at this meeting to go over the packets and the procedures to be followed . 2. ****All Tunica unit recharters are to be completed using internet rechartering. No hand completed forms will be excepted.**** If you find minor mistakes after finalizing the recharter these are the exception. This will be explained during the meeting. 3. Recharters are DUE at the district check point(s) on or before February 15. . All packets are to be checked by a district representative or commissioner prior to acceptance. 4. After February 28 your unit will be dropped from the rolls no exceptions. THERE ARENT ANY GRACE PERIODS THIS YEAR! **** NOTE: The information above was communicated to the units during last years rechartering. So, What do you need to do NOW! 1. Insure that your leaders have completed Youth Protection Training. You will need to provide a list of your leaders and the date training was completed with the recharter. Leaders who have not completed YP training before the internet recharter completion will be dropped. *** If you are conducting a group Youth Protection Training. Contact the District training chairperson for information needed to conduct the training. Please include the individualS BSA id # on the ypt forms. *** 2. Communicate to your parents and leaders you must have the registration fees by a date convenient to the unit. I would suggest on or before January 15. 3. BSA Fees are $24. Council Insurance is $1. The total will be $25. Please remember the insurance is added to the registration amount when paying. The insurance amount is not calculated in the internet registration. The actual cost of the insurance is far greater than the $1 you are being asked to pay. The Council picks up the excess cost. 4. Two ways to pay: Have funds in your council account, during the Internet Rechartering this question will be asked. Or, by check.
