Recipe for SSP Pizza Burgers: 12 hamburger buns 6 T butter 2 pounds ground beef 3/4 cup ketchup or more 3/4 cup tomato paste 1/4 tsp. oregano or more 2 Tablespoons of dark brown sugar or more 2 Tablespoons of vinegar 1 tsp. prepared mustard 3/8 cup minced or chopped onions salt and pepper to taste 24 slices of Velveeta cheese Preheat oven to 350 degrees Brown meat with onion. Drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Simmer for 20 minutes. Butter bun halves and put on metal jelly roll pan. Spoon meat mixture on top of each bun half. Top each with cheese. Put in the oven until cheese melts. Makes 24 Pizza Burgers Enjoy and think of your school days!
