Recipe of the Week! - Macaroni and Cheese Ingredients/Directions Preheat oven to 375’F (190’C) Grease a 9x13 Casserole Dish 3 cups (750ml) shredded Cheddar Cheese - Divide into two amounts: 2 cup (500ml) pile and a 1 cup (250ml) pile 3 cups (750ml) Macaroni – cooked al dente (whole wheat or vegetable) - Set aside ½ cup (125ml) Butter 6 Tbsp (90ml) White Flour 2 cups (500ml) Milk 1 tsp (5ml) Salt - In medium pot, melt butter over low heat. Whisk in flour all at once. Keep stiring for one minute - Gradually add milk to sauce, stirring constantly. Sauce will thicken after 5-10min - Stir 2 cups of cheese into the sauce - Add salt - Pour noodles and sauce into prepared casserole dish and sprinkle with remaining 1 cup cheese - Bake in preheated oven for 25minutes
