Recipe of the week: apple muffins (carbohydrate) Ingredients: 4 Apples (cored and peeled) 1.5 cups almond flour / meal 3 eggs 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon unrefines sea salt 1/2 cup raw honey (melted not in microwave but on stove top) 2 tab;espoons almond butter Directions: 1. preheat oven to 350 2. puree apples in food processor until smooth 3. combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix 4. fill muffin tins to rim (should make about 6 muffins) 5. bake for 25 minutes Serving size: Female- 1 muffin Male- 2 muffins
