Reckless disregard for safety. The number of safety lapses is ridiculous. This is why I dont approve of commercial mud races that have the primary objective of selling t-shirts and souvenir medals to recreational runners. It does not grow adventure sport, the disregard for safety mocks adventure sports. Adventure sports is about discipline, control (safety) and respect for nature and well being of human lives, animals, plants and the natural environment. Seriously now exposed barb wire in a wet section with civilians? Youve got to be kidding me.
