Class Description: #Sivananda style asana is a meditative practice aiming for optimum balance between effort and relaxation. Each 90-minute session includes pranayama (conscious breathing), surya namaskar (sun salutations) and 12 basic asanas specifically sequenced to enliven the spine and gently tone the nervous system. Postural variations are available to accommodate or challenge students of any ability; the many benefits of this practice are accessible to all.
