Record sale for the Enescu Festival 2015 season tickets: sold out in only 10 minutes The sale for season tickets at the 22-nd edition of the George Enescu International Festival (30 August – 20 September) broke all the records. Season tickets for the concerts and recitals at the Romanian Athenaeum were sold out in only 10 seconds from the moment they went on sale, while those for the concerts at the Palace Hall were sold out in 10 minutes. 250 season tickets were on sale for the two types of season tickets available for the Romanian Athenaeum (type B and C), as well as 750 season tickets type A, a number of 250 season tickets for type A 1 and a number of 250 season tickets for the type A 2, corresponding to a third of the available seats. In comparison to the previous editions of the Festival, two types of new season tickets (A1 and A2), which were introduced, created the opportunity to put on sale a larger number of seats. The sale procedure for the Enescu Festival 2015 season tickets started Thursday, 15 January, at 10.00 am (GMT+2), through Eventim.
