Recovering from amazing day at NT Croft Castle & Parkland yesterday. The house has some real gems and being able to unfold letters and read some of the books was fab. A real Twenties vibe going on inside. And a small prat of a contemporary art collection on the first floor with amazing genealogy trees. great to see the veg and fruits used in the cafe being grown. Quick game of badminton on the lawn too! Raspberry crumble topped tart was so good we went back for more. the parkland has so many walks we went for the moderate along the fishing pools ... Saw trout, dragonflies, wild raspberries and a host od birds. Not bad when all we went for was a chat with bee-keeper. Tiring but inspiring.
