Recovery Thought: Before recovery, fear and pride blinded me to the possibility of freedom from addiction and dysfunctional behavior. Psalm 146:7-8 He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free, the LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous. Recovery Prayer My Savior, Deep in my dysfunctional behavior, I was paralyzed by fear and held back by pride from seeking help. I was blind to any possibility of freedom from bondage. Thank You for opening my eyes, for granting me freedom and raising me up when I was bowed down. I praise You LORD. Amen.
