Recovery of National Wealth. This will not be possible during any tenure of the UPA. The present incumbents of ministries have looted more wealth than Ahmad Shah Durrani, Mehmood Ghaznavi , Ghauri and the British East India Company joined together. The Election Commission should order that none of the UPA Ministers and MPs will be allowed to travel abroad until they are proven to be clean. The corrupt among them will cite health reasons to go abroad and live lavishly till they can return for the next general election. If the Election Commission cannot issue such an order then the same should be obtained through the Supreme Court. A committee should be constituted to recover this wealth and should be lead by the likes of the non-corrupt politicians like Shri L.K. Advani and others from across all the parties. It should have members non-corrupt business men like Ratan Tata, Rahul Bajaj and others. Two ex-Chief Justices and Attorney Generals should be included also. They should not comprise on anybody from the present Prime Minister downwards. Banks should also be investigated because it is not possible to transfer huge sums of money abroad entirely without their help. Those among them have large dealings with Swiss banks and others in safe havens like Maldives etc. should account for their dealings. The wealth recovered from them should be used for construction of roads to remote areas and the facilitation of electricity for all. It is very sad that villages in UP which are only around 210 kilometers from New Delhi have not had electricity since independence. Once this is done at least 75% of the Jhuggies in the cities will vanish because these people can have employment in their villages. Small scale industries should be encouraged for such areas. This of course needs moral guts. It is for India to judge who are those that shy off from this responsibility. Hasnain Imam
