You will use your experience, and learning, via diploma or degree in recreation (or equivalent), to plan, develop, organize, and evaluate recreation and leisure programs at the Royal Palisade. It’s a “happening place”, so be prepared to “raise the bar” when it comes to planning events, programs, outings, and activities focused on Resident interests and backgrounds – to engage Residents physically, intellectually, socially, and spiritually. To be a friend. A listener. And to act on what you hear. You will be responsible for producing a dynamic “Calendar of Events” each month – so, apart from being an excellent “ideas person” who explores the best, come with excellent computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, Publisher, Internet) and Social Media savvy, to name a few. The position involves some evening and weekend hours. We offer an attractive remuneration package and benefits.
