Recruiting Tip #11 Dont prejudge! Recruit Up! I have a confession...I was afraid to recruit my doctors friends, attorneys, high power executives, real estate developers, judges, successful entrepreneurs, professors, hospital administrators, etc. Deep inside I knew they needed it, but I thought they would never look at it, but yesterday a gentleman who has high net worth and who is close friends of Tony Robbins and live down the street from him came to me to get me into another company. I asked him how and why he would do network marketing if he is already that wealthy. He said his close friend Mark Yarnell has made hundreds of millions in network marketing and he thinks he can do better. Then I asked him, why are you here to see me and how did u get my info? He says he data mines top performers of companies and go straight to them. I was like WoW. The experience left me speechless. I had a whole group of people what I called my chicken list or Top achievers list I was making excuses not to approach because of my own fear. It spoke more of my lack of confidence or belief of what I really have in Seacret than about them. So yesterday I called my friends who is an attorney, X-Mayor, VP executive of a top internet company and what do u know? All three said yes to an appointment which was not what I expected. WoW what a revelation. Please, recruit up. Attack your Top Achievers List early. These are the people you think are successful and would not do or Need a business like this. I had forgotten Dr. Christopher Ho MD UCLA clinical professor was also on my top achievers list but I gave him a recover and introduced him to Joshua Denne and he joined. Imagine what would of happened if I didnt try to contact Dr. Ho. My mistake was I didnt approach the rest of my chicken list. Dont wait like me, learn from my experience and save lost time. So now, when I help start a new agent, I ask for their chicken list or their top achievers list of people they know and I get an appointment to do a sit down.
