Recruiting for a Sharepoint Team Leader to work within a Banking organization based in the Western Cape Northern suburbs. Purpose of the role - To apply functional descriptions and technical specifications to steer the system development processes through linking internal and external IT technical resources to facilitate the successful implementation and maintenance of Sharepoint. - Oversee the daily management and task/project allocation for the Sharepoint team. Requirements - National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational) - A relevant 3 year tertiary qualification (degree / diploma) - SharePoint MCTS certification would be ideal - Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in a technical and / or IT environment. Strong knowledge of SharePoint Server 2010/2013. - Must have strong and effective written, verbal and presentation skills as this role will be directly interfacing with business stakeholders - Experience in Microsoft technology landscape and infrastructure including various server products The following would be ideal: • Solid understanding of SharePoint Server 2010/2013 enterprise /standard. • Minimum 5 years of experience in the implementation and management of SharePoint platform(s) in multi-server farm(s), including capacity planning, upgrades/migrations, stage deployments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod) and performance monitoring • 3 - 5 years’ experience in technical design and documentation, both technical and end user focused • 3 - 5 years’ experience in defining SharePoint farm architecture, including infrastructure, service applications and farm maintenance The ideal candidate will provide thought leadership on best practices for architectural design, understand the Microsoft SharePoint solution stack, and have a thorough understanding of enterprise application integration involving Business Process and Forms, Business Intelligence, Collaboration, CRM, Enterprise Content Management, and Portals.
